Buy or Lease a New Honda Pilot in Augusta, ME

The Honda Pilot is one of the most popular midsize SUVs with three rows of seating. The Honda Pilot has historically stood out as a top choice in its class, and it gets even better with more improvements this year. The latest Honda Pilot gives Auburn area consumers even more value, which is impressive considering that the previous model was one of the most value-oriented SUVs in its class to start with. The Honda Pilot also has a powerful V6 engine under its hood.

What's New?

You'll find more to enjoy with the Honda Pilot, which has the most value out of any model yet. The newest Honda Pilot can be ordered in five trims in the Camden area. You won't find anything missing from the lineup this year, which packs in more value with significantly more standard amenities than were previously available. Starting with the base trim level you can look forward to a surprising number of luxury features including heated mirrors, alloy wheels, sunshades, and leather upholstery.

Performance

While the trim lineup may have shuffled around a bit for the Honda Pilot, its strong performance features are the same in the new model year. The latest Honda Pilot is driven by a standard V6 engine with a 3.5-liter displacement. This engine gives the SUV a strong power output of up to 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. You'll get a nine-speed automatic transmission no matter which trim level that you choose. Front-wheel drive is standard for all trim levels of the Honda Pilot, but you can also switch over to all-wheel drive if you need additional traction for most trim levels. All-wheel drive is standard on the top two trim levels, which are the Elite and Black Edition.

If you want to tow in the Lewiston area, you can expect a different tow rating based on the powertrain that you get. The front-wheel drive models can tow a maximum of 3,500 pounds, while the trim levels with all-wheel drive get more towing power of up to 5,000 pounds.

Cargo and Interior Space

Storage is a top selling point in the Honda Pilot for many Portland area families, which is useful if you need to carry lots of gear and pack in the whole crew for a trip Downeast. Storage space in the Honda Pilot reaches 16.5 cubic feet behind the last row of seats. If you fold all the seats down, you'll get a whopping 83.8 cubic feet in storage space.

The Honda Pilot also gives you secret storage spaces under the loading floor, which is a great way to store the extra gear and amenities that you don't need to use right away. The seat back pockets are also large and spacious, and you can fit a surprisingly large number of small items throughout the cabin and the trunk area.

Technology

Technology in the Honda Pilot includes many standard amenities that you won't find on most of the SUV's competitors. The base trim has satellite radio, four USB charging ports split between the first and second rows, three zones of climate control, Android Auto™, and Apple CarPlay®. An eight-inch touchscreen is standard. A wireless charging pad is added on the second trim level and above.

Safety

For safety, the new Honda Pilot comes with great driver-assist safety features to keep you safer on the Waterville area roads. Standard and available safety features include:

  • Lane-Keep Assist System
  • Blind-Spot Monitoring
  • Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
