Yesterday, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Honda introduced its all-new pickup truck. The 2017 Ridgeline, which will hit the market during the first half of this year, was designed, developed, and will be manufactured in the United States.

According to John Mendel, executive vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., the company seeks to set new benchmarks for the mid-size pickup segment. "We are bringing our unique technology and original thinking to the market in a new and challenging concept for a Honda pickup," he said...

Today, American Honda announced that 2015's total combined sales of Honda and Acura vehicles (1,586,551), set an all-time record, breaking the previous mark, set in 2007, by three percent. Honda division gained 2.6 percent over 2014's record, reaching 1,409,386 vehicles.

Yesterday, it was announced that Green Car Journal has named the Honda HR-V a finalist for the coveted title of 2015 Green SUV of the Year. The goal of the annual award is to drive improvement of the intersection of automobiles, energy, and the environment.
